Right to Cancel

Cancellation

(1) The customer has the right to withdraw his declaration of intent to conclude the contract within 14 days after receipt of the goods without giving a reason. This must be done in writing (e.g., by fax, email or letter) or by returning the product to Grete Häusler GmbH. The period of time begins with receipt of this instruction at the earliest, but not before receipt of the goods. Punctual sending of the cancellation statement or the received goods suffices for adherence to the cancellation deadline. The written cancellation is to be sent by mail to Grete Häusler GmbH, Christian-Jorhan-Str. 3, 84169 Altfraunhofen, Germany, by email to info@gh-verlag.de or by fax to +49 8705 9398379. Goods to be returned should be sent to Grete Häusler GmbH, Auslieferungslager, Übermatzhofen 5, 91788 Pappenheim, Germany. The burden of proof of the dispatch of the goods to be returned lies with the customer.

(2) In the case of a valid cancellation, goods received or payments made are to be compensated for, and are to be surrendered accordingly. In so far as the customer is unable to give back the goods received in entirety or in part, or only in a deteriorated condition, he has to compensate Grete Häusler GmbH in this respect. This does not apply for return of the item if the deterioration of the item is exclusively attributable to its examination, as would have been possible for the customer in a retail shop, for example. The customer can avoid the obligatory compensation if he does not make use of the item like an owner and refrains from anything which affects its value in any way. If the cancellation concerns goods worth less than 40 Euro and the goods delivered correspond to those ordered, then the customer has to bear return costs. Otherwise, the return is free of charge if it is done within 14 days.

(3) If the payment is to be sent abroad, the money transfer fees will be subtracted from the amount to be returned. Grete Häusler GmbH will make use of its right of detention until the goods have been returned in their entirety.

(4) If the goods have already been used and show signs of usage, cancellation of the purchase is no longer possible.
