In the year 1989, the first choral cassette of the Bruno Gröning Friends appeared, followed shortly thereafter by a second one. The most beautiful pieces from these two cassettes have been brought together here on this single CD. Most of them consist of choral and solo pieces performed a cappella or with simple piano or organ accompaniment and testify to the quality of the first musical fruits of the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends.
